Bench testing
Bench testing the injectors from my 2007 Classic 5.3. What voltage do I need to test fire the injectors. ALSO testing the resistance in the injector, what ohm reading should I be looking for.

Injector testing
I made a little cleaner for my injectors. First was to buy an ultrasonic cleaner and just used soap and water in it. Next was to pump brake cleaner thru the injector using a syringe for pressure and a 9 volt battery to pulse the injector. Used a glass jar so that I could see the spray pattern. Not top notch but the price was right and I can see if the spray pattern isn't right.

I use a 9 V battery with a set of alligator clips. Got the 9V battery plug off an old radio. I just hook up the battery and shoot carb cleaner through them. Stick the straw from the spray cleaner down in there, kinda seal it up with my fingers then keep squirting the cleaner through until you see a decent pattern. I might have used a peanut butter jar to catch the spray but think I just let the workbench catch it.
Never had an issue and cleans up dirty injectors just fine.
Sometimes I do presoak them in a jar of Berrymans B-12 carb cleaner. I use the same stuff to clean my bike chains. Drop them in a plastic jar and shake it around.
