Default Cruise not not working

The cruise in my LS swap into my 68 cutlass is not working. I have good power and ground coming into the cruise control module but the hp tuners scanner is not showing the cruise module as "on". It is a drive by cable and I am using relays with an aftermarket control switch. Eveything apears to be working properly when tested with my test light.

Wired like this. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=398006

Seems like i should atleast see the scanner telling me the cruise module is on.

Ive never had a scanner say a DBC cruise is on in a swap. Have you checked for power and ground at the module? Also, you dont have LED brake lights do you?

I have confirmed that the ground, key on power, and the cruise control on power is good... Next I guess I will try grounding the cruise inhibit signal which should bypass it? It is currently hooked up thru the pcm.

No LED brake lights.

Cruise inhibit doesn't do anything on a swap. Check for power on pin D with the brakes NOT applied, should have power, if that checks out, check for power on pin G, it should not have power until the brakes are applied.

Thanks for the help. It ended up being the tcc/brake switch being slightly out of adjustment. The brake switch portion was applying power when the brake was pressed but there was no power supply when not depressed unless i pulled up on the pedal. Works like it should now!

I've seen that problem before, that's why my go to testing after making sure LED brake lights aren't used is the brake switch. Glad you got it going!
