Not perfect looking but it's functional. So the wires your talking about must just get jumped in one of those underhood plugs and in turn provide power to that parking lamp. If you could tell me which ones you jumped I would be in your debt because it's really bothered me that I messed something up. I was certain I hadn't I just haven't had time to investigate and the car runs great despite that one thing.
OK, I looked at my car and double checked the shop manual as best I could. On my car, which is a 2003 3.8L MT model, there is a white wire with a powder blue stripe on it, which connects to the turn/park light on the passenger's side. It seems that it is consistent in color all the way through. The main junction that it passes through is one of the three rectangular connectors clipped on to the bracket under the ECU in the passenger's kick panel. The shop manual says it passes through C215, which appears to have 16 pins. I can neither confirm nor deny that last part because I've thinned out my harness too much. The wire is definitely white with a blue stripe, though.

I hope that helps at least a little.

Small update.

I drop the car off Tuesday to have it dynoed. Excited to finally see some numbers and be able to get into some boost.

picking up my own car trailer finally today. Excited about that as I’ve been borrowing one when I need it and sucks making a 2 hour drive round trip just to use a trailer for a short period of time

i drop it off this coming Tuesday the 24th. It runs down the road fine, fans work, never gets above 190 so it should be good to go

Crossing my fingers I can take it to the track this coming Friday

Here’s the trailer I picked up. Only a year and half old, sits prettt low so I shouldn’t need any boards to keep the front bumper from hitting too. Funny how everything revolves around this car lol.

Nice trailer. And I feel that same way about my builds. My wife gets pissed at me sometimes because I stay out there working on them so much

I'll check later and see if I can at least tell you what colors those wires are on my '03. If I have time, I'll see if there's anything in the shop manual about that part of the harness.
So this turned out not to be my problem at all. It was actually a bad ground that went to the park/turn connector. I must've pulled it out partially when I put my turbo over there. That being said anyone doing this swap can literally just unhook the engine harness and slap an LS in and retain all functionality on their car as before like power windows, locks, heat etc. IF your looking to weed out all the connectors that are empty in the engine bay well that's going to get pretty in depth as these wires run all over the car. Sorry for the thread jack just though this was helpful in some way.

you guys and about 15 people in my phone will be the first to know lol 👍🏻

Forgot to add, I started ona quick and easy rear firewall last night before I loaded the car on the trailer. I meant to order one of the Scott fab ones but a read firewall In general slipped my mind completely. I’ll smooth this out and spray some rattle can bedliner on it. Will be good enough for now just so I can get it to the track.

as far as a cage goes.....I’m holding out to see what this car puts down and what it might be capable of. It may just get a 10pt over the winter instead of messing with a 6pt.

no sir i never did dyno it. never even took it too the track to see what it would run. i did all the tuning( with the help of some refrencing from mr sloppys tune files) so a dyno would have been fun just to see how it was. i was dbw so i had to make some changes from his tunes. ill be running one of the same ECU (P-59) on this build with the DBC throttle body. I believe thats the ECU that can do both DBW and DBC. the truck felt great for what it was. boost was full by 4k and pulled great to 6100. that was about as high as i went with it. should be a fun setup in that car of yours.
