Default Stock 6.0L power steering pulley

Can anyone verify if the Dorman 300-201 power steering pulley will work on my stock steering pump? This unit had the hydroboost type brakes, with the one pressure line and two return lines. I am using this smaller pulley to clear the steering box.

Yes, i am running the same Dorman pully on the same pump that came out of a 2002 Escalade with hydroboost. Fits fine.

Can you post the two diameters you are dealing with (original pulley and smaller one)? I have an LY6 and would like to use a smaller pulley if possible for steering box clearance as well.

Will you need a smaller belt or will the tensioner take up the difference?

Thanks!

Joe

What about the belt? Did you need to find a shorter one?

OK, so I go the 300-202 pulley and it doesn’t line up with my other accessories. It’s pressed on flush......

Assume the LY6 “van” accessories are different from what you used?

Bummer.......

Looking at the this, it almost looks like the 202 pulley could be pushed on further? Right now the nose of the pulley is flush with the pump shaft.
