Does anybody have an idea of how much all these parts list for- the grand total for the c5 kit? I'm not really interested in the price on the ac stuff, but someone else may.
Thanks

Rear bracket P/N 12556915
Front bracket P/N 12563327
Power steering:
Main bracket P/N 12561584
Front brace P/N 12555693
These part numbers are right from GM's computers and they also list all the idlers/tensioners as well as the mounting hardware (which I'll get later)
Hopefully these can help others out.

I switched from the low alternator, camaro, to the high mount vette setup. I did this because .... I mounted my engine as far back as i could with the S&P type mounts and I will be using the BRP front rack kit hence, the alternator would hit the rack if it were low mounted.
BTW, the vette alt can be had online for $120 through Advance Auto Parts. And the vette power steering pump (if you need it) is $80 at Autozone. Both have a lifetime warranty. The camaro power steering pump is a different pump than the vette, a thicker shaft diameter if i remember correctly.
And the guy that said his power steering pump pulley was touching the foward boss of the top a arm is/was correct. I also had this problem...for alittle while...
If the motor is mounted with the BRP mounts there is no issue as the pulley is now forward of the a arm boss. But with the S&P mounts the pulley is in line with the a arm and a little torque is sure to shread your belt against the a arm.
You could either grind down the excess , and I do mean excess, metal on the boss that interfears, or do what i did and slap on a set of tubular a arms.

LS1 LS2 Vette brackets
Anybody know what all difference there is in LS1 and LS2 Vette accessories?
I mocked my 85 Vette using a C5 motor. I switched to a crate LS2 and am now probing out the accessory systems.
One thing I know, the a/c compressor on the C6 LS2 has a SIDE port for the maifold in the rear. The C5 LS1 is a rear port. To reuse OEM accessories in a 84-96 Vette, you have to use a REAR port a/c compressor.
With that said, I don't yet know if the compressor mounting bracket is different too.
If I find this out before answering, I'll edit the post with the info. Otherwise, PLEASE chime in if you know.

Here is my parts list for LS2 GTO accessories. The F-body LS1 alternator brackets are listed because the GTO alternator is stupid expensive.
Edit: The prices are with a 25% discount, you might be able to get the same from your dealer if they know you'll be buying several parts.

n00b request here: it looks like there are a couple of kits listed here. can anyone append pictures of each setup for future reference? i think it would be generally helpful and cut down on questions from others.
meanwhile - John - since you're looking, i'd like to take a sec to say 'thanks' for keeping your personal 'swap progress' website online, it helped me a LOT throughout my swap.
