Tranny question
I was thinking about buying an NSX and tossing an LS1 in there(light+power=stupidfast) and the only thing bothering me is that the NSX is mid-engine as you know and the LS1 is ment for front-mounted engines. So what type of tranny should I use, I was thinking something like a Porche trans-axle....
Any info or help would be very appreciated.

LS1 NSX question
Ferguson Fabrication in Tempe, Arizona (480) 967-6160 (Mike) is doing alot of the fabrication and problem solving on my LS1 V8 Miata project (fergfab.com/gallery/) and when I was in Mike's shop I saw the badest-*** carbon fiber, serious business, NSX I've ever seen. He contract builds them I think for some group Science of Speed or something like that, anyway he's the only guy I know with both high perf NSX experience and stuffing LS engines in small spaces.
Hope it helps.

Thanks I need to get the chassis and engine before I begin this project. But any help whatsoever helps, squeezing an LS1 into an NSX engine bay shouldn't be to hard and if it is the trunk is always good space to jump into....

Jeff, the LS engines guy in Arizona (480) 577-9413 does exotic 100K Sandcar stuff, They have transaxles that handle their twin-turbo LS V8 Sandcar stuff to 1000 HP and I've seen the various adapters they sell to adapt transaxles to LS engines.
Jeff's probably a good go to guy.
