Can I wire power to the whole car to the starter key switched?

Can I wire power to the whole car to the starter key switched? I have a bunch of custom wiring that has lots of power wires running into the engine bay.
Can i just run all the positive wires for the headlights/interior/signals EVERYTHING to the starter, so they get power when the key has power, and nothing has power when the key is off?
The car is just a weekend dragcar C4 vette ls1 swap so im not really worried about overdoing somethings. But would that even work?

Re: Can I wire power to the whole car to the starter key switched? I would recommend going to autozone and buying a 30 amp relay. That way you can run shorter wires and not run such a load through you starter switch which I don't think could handle it all
