good to know. thanks for the appreciated advice, ill have to reconsider the wiring harness. i did know that the pcm would need to be reprogrammed, and budged in 300$ for that. am i understanding this correct, if i sent my wiring harness in and specified what all sensors im running, ill get it back with all the wires labelled and extra lenght if need?

Yeah, the harness I got back from Speartech was ready to go - labelled everywhere it needed to be, with plenty of length.

Damn, trucks are easy to do a frame-off.. Everything comes apart in small pieces!. That looks great, especially engine! very clean the way you did it. What are your plans for brakes/gears/front susp, etc? Decided on a color? Any power adders?

brakes are gonna be 12" front drill/slotted and the rear is also gonna be 12"drill/slotted. drop spindles, 1" drop spring, tubular upper and lower control arms, power steering (not really a power adder, but good for driveing), rear is a 12 bolt with 411 gears ( currently, may change to 373 or 342 when i see how it drives), the engine has a texas speed 224 224 @ .050 and 581 581 lift. and comp 918s springs with headers.......... color of truck is gonna be black with some custom true fire grafix by my brother..

the tranny is a 4l60e thats has a tci 3000-3500 stall.

What motor mounts are you using? I tried the S&P's in my 71 Blazer they dont work at all for me.

You can easily mount the truck switch on the camaro trans. Just get a truck switch (cost me around 35 new I think, local GM parts place) and you need to change the shifter shaft in the trans. (about 15 new at GM Dealer) All you need to do is drop the trans pan, take one nut off, slide the old shaft out, slide the new one in tighten the nut back up and put the pan back on. It was really easy to do.

that sounds like a easy cheap thing to do...... what i thought about was putting the switch actually on the steering columb, where the factory one was, but that would be just as nice and easy to do...
the mounts are from ebay ( i think they cost me 38 shipped) and im using tubular engine stands from performanceonline.com
it mounts up perfect..... ill post a pic if i can find one.
