ok i got the trans cooler all plumbed up.... finished the electric fan brackets (one on the pass side was fun... i had to make an extension to hold the intake tube assembly) also got the intake tube assembly on... i installed the mufflers with the turn downs right before the rear axle..... buttoned up the rear end with a richmond no-slip powertrax posi unit.....( despite the debate here on there performance, i think its a good product, hope im right..)
new brake lines on the rear connecting the calipers... put a new hidden hitch on (hides behind the rear bumper, flip the tag down to reveal the receiver)... and lastly modded and installed the drop out bat. box on the frame... ( bat box is in the "dropped" position so it reallly wont hang that low while driveing.... and will be totally hidden behide the rear fender when the beds installed.....

Whenever that beast runs, see if you can get the IAT reading from it...the '04 GTO elbow I'm using works fine, but it also results in 110* IATs in 55 degree weather!

wow that is looking good.
I used the same cold air intake but for what ever reason wantd to keep my battery in teh stock location so I flipped it and cut a hole in my rad support my IAT is REALLY low. I have scanned it and it was never above ambient temp or atleast not much. Once I get moving it really pulls the cool air.
hang in there

I was thinking about cutting a hole under the battery tray and trying to pull the air from there on my set up.

Looks good. Looks just like the truck I built a few years ago except I put a T56 in it.

That's a trick setup, thanks for posting that. I don't think my GMC has that much room on the core support but I'll check...any more pictures you can post of that would be awesome

I love the 67-72 body style! I used to own a 72' CST Blazer. I was thinking for my next project (when ever that might be) I would do a Blazer with 6.0 w/ single turbo.

Very nice project! Keep up the good work!
