Default ls1 w/ EDIS8 and megasquirt

if i run my ls1 with an EDIS 8 and megasquirt setup would i elimintate the need for the cam and crank sensors since the timing will be controlled by the 36-1 gear and VR sensor? what other sensors would be left that would be neccessary with this application? here is what i can think of, if i am leaving some out please let me know:

temp, map, knock(2),throttle position, idle air control...

any others??? o2 sensor? oil sensor, etc...???

thanks,
shad

Yes, if you swap to the VR and 36-1, no need for the LS1 sensors other than to plug the holes

Default LS1 and EDIS8 contol

Were you thinking of fitting the trigger wheel to the balancer? I was wondering if you have to key the hub in some way to make sure it does not move? Sounds interesting. Thanks
