the ac, i believe i have it worked out with the placement,the hardest part was tracking down a piece of D O M tubing - to sleeve the bolt ( between the compressor mounts ) and to weld to flat steel that will bolt to the block.then ill fab another piece for the idler pulleys.i plan on placing the pulleys so i could use the stock non-ac belt if needed in an emergency or needed not to have the ac for some reason. john

John what color are you going to paint the car? Just curious sense my 65 cutlass has the same(hope I don't offend U) ugly gold paint as yours. It just don't do it for me. There are so many choices I just can't make up my mind. I'm leaning towards 2005 mustang mineral gray. I sure like candy apple red but just don't want that much bling on my ride.

actually i thought about keeping it gold, for about a second.im going black all the way and maybe a custom color in the interior like saddle or a pearl, still a bit aways on the int. but it will be black .i would keep the paint a stock color.just my likes though. JOHN

the current status, at the body shop the rear panel. complete trunk & trunk extentions and passenger lower quarter have been changed so far. firewall has been smoothed out as well.waiting on the front floors,front lower cowl sections and a patch for the drivers side quarter just ordered an afco aluninum radiator and fan. slowly working on my compressor relocation brackets and looking for a pair of doner doors no pics right now my computer is on the fritz . just a few unorganized pics of my compressor rough mock-up .got a new computer and im trying to figure out the pic thing. still have too mount the idler pulleys and get a belt and trim up the brackets a bit but it looks like it will work . car is still in body shop. JOHN
