fairmont saw a max of 600rwhp(dynojet). that was on the dyno at 80deg. our best run was on a 45deg day and it was making good power that day.

we are going to be doing a duel staged fuel system. planing on meth for the 2nd fuel system. maybe that m3 from vp. here is a pic of the meth pump set up we are working on for our nova and plan on copying for this car.

What kind of pumps are those?

Did I read that right? Those are for meth only? Are you using nozzles or the 4 injectors on the TB?

kinda confused

Straighten me out. ahaha

we are not paying any special attention to "meth only" products but we plan on running strait meth.

we will likely try some other fuels as well. e85, c16... if c16 gives close to the same power then we will run that just so we can forget about the posible meth corosion issues. if the meth makes a fair amount more power then we are going to stick with it and see what problems come up. we have found a number of people running meth with unrated pumps/injectors/lines and they have been doing it for years with no issues.

First off, I loved the Fairmont and I'm looking forward to some updates on the Stang. I do have a few questions though.... Why did ya'll choose Megasquirt over the factory LS harness and PCM to control fuel and spark?

I'm swapping over to a turbo setup myself. I'm interested in the Megasquirt setup, but know nothing about it. I already have a MSD 6010 , how do they work together?
Also, what gear and converter are you running in the Stang with the PG?

converter is a coen 3500, not sure on the details. gears are 410's for now but we know that wont work well. might be ok in the 1/8th but the car will run out of mph in the 1/4.

we are running a duel fuel set up on this car. the squirt makes that somewhat easy. msd just plugs in to everything and then provides a tach signal to the squirt. they work great together.

installing the squirt is easy. geting it fired up and the setting correct are a little tricky. once it is up and running the tuning is easy and fast.

[QUOTE=court9155;10663371]I bought the AJE K member but it just arrived a week ago as it was on back order.

I must admit I am not happy with it thus far, just the fact that the did not clean all the weld splatter off of mine, prior to powdercoating pains my ***.

I really can't complain, for the price, but my D&D was cheaper (windsor) and looked alot nicer.

Yeah, let me say, I am way disappointed as well. AJE's quality has gone to ****. I bought my 1st AJE Kmember @ 13 years ago, and that thing was BEAUTIFUL!! No splatter, fitment (of tubes) was perfect, etc....Awesome. I just got another one from them for my other car about 2 weeks ago, and there is splatter ALL over it. I mean, it looked like they were welding over grease and ****. Welds are ugly, (you can tell tubes were not notched right, and they took a grinder to open them up) and to be honest looks like a rookie with a stick welder welded mine up

I'm not sure they are even using a bracket for the alternator, after looking at the pics in the link in the first post..Looks to be bolted straight to the head to me..
