Throttle by wire?

Throttle by wire? I usually post in the truck section,but I was hoping maybe you guys could help with my problem.I am installing a TCI stand alone computer on my supercharged 01 Tahoe to run a 4L80E transmission.The TCI TPS plugin has 3 wires and the truck has 6 wires,basicly 2 TPSs in 1.When I splice the TCI wires to the corresponding ABC wires on the wiring harness the throttlebody does not work and shows a reduced engine power warning on the dash,but the transmission shifts.When I unplug the spliced connection the throttlebody works but the transmission does'nt shift.I hope someone can help me figure an answer to my problem.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks whitt1

Re: Throttle by wire? I checked the pin out for a 2001 Tahoe, and according to it, you should hook the wires in as follows. If you want to connect them at the PCM, J1/46 (gray wire) is the 5V supply, it is in cavity "A" at the throttle body TPS switch. At J1/54 on the PCM, you will find the 5V return (black wire), at the TB it is in cavity "B". The reference (or signal) is located at J2/24, or cavity "C" at the TB. This wire is dark blue.
Do not remove any of these wires, just splice the TCI box circuits to them. I use one of these controllers on my 427ci LS1 / 4L80E powered S-10, and it works fine.
