Circuit 539, C105 pin B (pink wire) goes to a series of other pink wires tied together in the harness. It splits to C220 pin C. It also goes to each of the O2 Sensors. Is this the wire i need to make an individual fused circuit from the LT1 fuse box that powers the O2s? thanks again for the help.

I'm in the wiring stage of my 94' Impala-SS swap now which is why I'm inquiring about the maf sensor wiring. The eng/trans has been installed since January and it has taken forever to have the harnesses grafted together. Hopefully by Labor Day it will be up and running.

From what you are describing this is the MAF/O2 Sensor wire. This needs a fused 12v power from the Fuse Box to function properly.

What gauge are the wires that run the OBD2 port?

If you don't want to buy the tools just get a few small cotter pins and bend them open. You have to slide it in from the terminal side to release the lock tab then pull the wire out. You'll also need to remove the plastic clip from the wire side to be able to pull them out.

What Flame said will work, I have the Connector Tools to break them down.

It SHOULD be stickied..but I think it would take from people's business..

I know of one company that has used this exact guide to make their harnesses.

I hope it helps you guys out..

I appreciate it my Vette is not an LT1 but your thread explains a lot LT1 or not.
I have been working on my harness lately and this is good info.

Ok, I am doing this on a friends car, for the oil pressure sensor, oil level sensor, speedo, tach, am I tapping into the wires coming from the LS1 harness? Or am I wiring these directly from the sensors to the LT1 under dash connector?

Yes, they are all in the LS Harness..you have to add in the Water Temp Sensor for the Gauges, and splice in the Red Alternator Wire for the Gauges aswell, then run them to the stock LT1 Gauges.

question for you. I am getting ready to take on the wiring part of the ls1 swap im working on. Difference is its going in a 97 camaro v-6. Car started out auto and we are keeping it auto. How much difference is there between an lt1 car and a v-6 when it comes to wiring? Im using the ls1 harness and the ls1 ecm out of a 2000 camaro SS

Merv i just ran across something today. Would a 98 ls1 engine harness and ecu be easier to use instead of trying to use a 2000 harness and ecu? Besides the temp sensor, which i planned on swapping over to the 98 style, would there be any plug differences?

It'll have the wires in it, but doing a 1999-2002 one isnt that hard, and the PCM is a ton easier to tune.

Just get a Connector Pin Out for that car..the V6 & V8 wires are listed on them.
