I used the templates and was able to fab up both BRP and S&P with just a cutting wheel, grinder, drill and a tap. Then home Powder Coated them for a added touch.

Just took a few hours.. be less if you have a shop and better tools.

I have them for pretty cheap, it's almost not worth the effort to build at my prices.

I'm still looking for a mount adapter that will place the rear mounting surface of my LS1 in the same location as the rear mounting surface as my GEN1 SBC, so I do not have to relocate my TKO-500 & Lakewood scatter shield.....

The moutning holes in the trans crossmember are slotted, so I could shift it probably 3/8" either way..... Does anybody make a product like this, or am I better off fabbing my own at assembly?? Thanks~

^^You would probably have to move the LS1 Engine back about an Inch..one of those Links up there are mounts that do that.

The only problem you get into when trying to place the ls trans mounting surface flush with the original sbc surface is that the sbc has a lip that offsets back allowing the "mounting surface" to protrude into the trans tunnel in the car/
truck. on the ls1 engine the drivers side head is flush with the mounting surface for the trans, in some cases when trying to mount it to the trans in the original location the cylinder head can have firewall clearance issues.

^^That's what I was figuring Jason would have needed for him.

As far as the Fire Wall goes, it does get tight, sometimes you might have to mod it with the Hammer to get you some extra room.
