Drive by wire conversion to cable throttle LS1?

Drive by wire conversion to cable throttle LS1?

I have a 69 Camaro with a LS1 running a 1998 F body computer and cable drive throttle.

I thought I had seen or heard of a way to mount a drive by wire throttle body and pedal on the F body system to convert it.

Is there such an animal?

If not...what are my options to go that route?

You need a DBW TB, a TAC module and ETC (electronic throttle pedal). and a PCM that supports DBW. The TAC and the ETC must be matched, meaning from the same vehicle/engine combo. There's lots of posts on the topic.

I want to make sure I'm reading that thread right. I want to convert my drive by cable car to a drive by wire using the 98 PCM - is that what he is doing...or is he taking a drive by wire motor and wanting to convert to a cable for his older application?????
