Crowder, possibly. I still haven't found out myself because it's hard keeping my foot off the skinny pedal now

A V8 powered Jeep is how they should all come from the factory in my opinion. At least as an option. Night and day difference from my anemic 4.0L
I've got about 6 months and 4000 miles on my TJ with a 5.3 conversion. I'm getting about 15 to 16 mpg on 35" tires, 4.10 gears and a AX15 manual trans (if you short shift).
98BlackSS is right though, your toughest challenge will be keeping your foot out of the throttle (and keeping the D35 in one piece).

i would strongly suggest using all advance adapters stuff. i used M.O.R.E. motor mounts and really wish i hadnt. they are in the way of everything, and they dont fit very well.

i drove the jeep 32 miles to work today, ran great. it did have a miss, turns out i had been sold the wrong ac delco plugs, they were a little short part number 91-432 i think, and one had a crack. i put autolite cheapies in and it runs great.

Good luck!
