Flashing computer
Flashing computer I called up a couple of chevy dealers to ask if they could flash my computer going into my car. They said they would have to have my car their for them to flash it. I thought you only needed the vin and the computer to do it.

Re: Flashing computer Some dealers don't have the off board programming harnesses to do it without a car (some have them but have no idea how to use them). You gotta have something to hook it all together when the car isn't there.

Re: Flashing computer I have acces to be able to flash a whole car with a tech 2 but can you use it with the harness from speartech that hooks up to the tech 2. Instead of going to a gm dealership.

I have a question along the same lines. Can a dealer flash your computer with a program for the hotcam or ASA cam?

Re: Flashing computer I have access to the software at the school that I got to "Southern Illinois University" auto program where we have the software. So the harness from you is $125.00
