Default LS1_catera running rich

I'm looking for some help with my LS1 catera's running condition. it seems like my engine (from 98 f-body) is stuck in cold-enrichment mode.
even after warming up, at 165ºF, the narrow-band O2 sensors still read rich.

the pcm (from 99 f-body) was supplied by wait4meperformance.

Any codes showing up??

I'd start by checking your IAT sensor. If the IAT reports colder temps than the actual air temperature, it will cause the motor to run rich for sure. Its a simple thing, but I'd start there.

Is the MIL illuminated? If it is, what codes are you showing? Do your IAT and ECT reading change as the car warms up?

no MIL, and no DTC's on OBD2 scan.
exhaust manifolds are homemade, I couldn't find any production manifolds or aftermarket headers to fit the bastard catera, so I made some. I'll try to post some pics next week.

Are o2 sensors new or used? Make sure the heaters are working. With vehicle completely cold, turn the key on, but do not start. If you have a scan tool, you should be able to watch the O2 sensor voltage drop from .45v to less then .050 volt. This should happen within one minute. Usually new sensors will heat up in 30 seconds or so.

You can also turn the key on, and feel the o2 sensor, to see if it gets warm. Again, do this with completely cold engine, so you can tell heaters are working.

Another thing to check is to see if it's going into closed loop. If it stays in open loop then it'll stay in cold enrichment mode. Mostly non closed loop operations I've found is too cold of thermostat unless your PCM is programmed for colder stat.
