Default THIRD GEN LSX TURBO preview pics.
I dont post on here much but I have been working on a project for the past year and I just wanted to post up some pics of the car at about 75% complete.

Vague details:

1985 body
ls1 w/ 6Liter heads and turbo cam
Turbonetics T76 turbo
6 speed

I will be posting more details as the project wraps up.

I see. How much power is expected from that setup? Truck coils might be considered an option..

check my sig.....I had this turbo in my other car but for this setup I just changed the location and cleaned up the engine bay. The car now has a sumped tank with magnafuel external pump so fuel should not be an issue. It should make close to 600 rwhp but I need to play it safe on a stock bottom end.

Looks good so far.

Any more details on the build? Internals?
I hope you did the upgrade to the 4thGen LS1 brakes, b/c I couldn't even get my '91 to stop worth a crap on stock power.

Oh yea, I hope you're not using those bolts to hold the turbo to the manifold, you should be running machine grade(Grade 10 or higher) bolts.

i think that might have been a different car, unless this is the same car that chris sold.
