1st gen. Camaro with an LS2 with functional cowl hood
Has anyone here with an LSx motor in a 1st gen. Camaro made their
cowl hood functional? I have a 1968 Z28 that I am putting an LS2 into and I want to keep the cowl hood functional.
Most cars I've seen pics of just dump the airbox to the side, which does not look so nice to me. I would like to see pics if anyone has done this. I was thinking of routing the tubing from the Tb, making a U right strait back up to where an old style air cleaner would sit on top of the intake.

you could flip the intake so the TB faced backwards and mount the filter in the cowl... not sure if there is enough room but it would unclutter the enginecompartment considerably.. another option is to run a vic jr intake and run a 4 bl TB or 105mm wiliams TB and round aircleaner and do a nascar style cowl induction..
