Default flipping the fuel rail question?

just to make sure . can I unbolt , unclip and flip the fuel rail, so the feed is on the pass. side on a stock 06 ls2 ? thanks , JOHN

I know that it can be done for sure on the LS1's... I have done this to my setup.. if the LS2 is based on Gen III and IV .. Then I would say that you should be able to flip the fuel rail 180 also....

I dont see why you couldnt. The intakes can be flipped. I knwo the LS4 uses the intake so the throttle body feeds from the flywheel side.

If you intend to use a fuel rail cover I am pretty sure flipping will cause the cover not to fit properly. Just incase you were using one.

I have flipped it on my LS1.. to put the inlet on the passenger side where my stock location of the hardline is. The FRC would have a problem in there would be no slot / hole for the fuel rail inlet, but nothing you can't fix. Also, your relief valve might be hard to reach.



If you noticed, I did away with the QD by brazing a AN bunt on the end of the Fuel inlet.
