Default recomended shift points?

How does one determin the best shift points for there application when getting the PCM reprogrammed?

I have a 1998 jeep wrangler with the 2001 ls1 (5.7L) and 4L60E, I'm not going to rock crawl and I'm not going to the drag strip

any recommendations?

Thanks

If the engine is basically stock and the vehicle will be used for "normal" use, I would leave the shift points stock and just make sure you enter the correct gear ratio and tire size when you get the PCM reprogrammed. That way, the PCM knows the correct vehicle speed and can choose ideal shift points based on that.

Yeah I sleep; just not as much as I'd like to.

I might have gotten the email if you're Steve.
