Here's the MSD box I have
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Here's the intake I have
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...7&autoview=sku

If you buy the package (intake and ing. box) that Edelbrock offers its $50 more and the box has less features.

you linked to the wrong msd box. you have the msd 6010 if you're running a motor out of a 01 truck, not the 6012. fyi.

Hey man, I like the cover plate you made for the valley, how did you make it? And why don't you need the knock sensors? When you run the MSD box does it eliminate the sensors? I am curious because I am about to begin a similar build.

The MSD will not read the knock senors, so I got rid of them. I'm a machinist and made the cover on a cnc machine.

Harner I wish I would have made them bigger in the first place but the original intentions for the car was more of a cruiser hence the 700r4,3.73 10 bolt, keeping the heater box etc. One thing leads to another, I put the bottle on it , Strange 12 bolt with 4.10's etc. May be one of these days Ill do a new big set but not in the near future

You want to make another valley cover? haha.

They do sell aftermarket knock sensors (Knock Lite) to use the factory knock sensors but the msd box doesnt use them. I kept mine incanse i wanted to fo efi. Alteast thats what i reasoned with myself. I was just too lazy to take of the valley cover.

6L IROC-Z

Cool Brother... your running a cam similar to the one I will have in my NEW 418 LS3 stroker

yours
232/240 .595/.608 on a 112

Mine
240/246 .604/.608 112 LSA

I am going to run the same intake as you single VIC JR
Same MSD box ( I was running the box with pills)
I have long tubes
AFR 205 Heads by tony mamo
3500 stall 3.36 gear

3150 lbs C3 vette

should go low 11s on motor maybe High 10's

The guys on Corvette Forum are HATERS on the CARB LSX with a VIC JR.

I am glad you can run a 112LSA with a Vic Jr intake... they say it will run like crap and be lazy. I guess thats not the case with your ride??

Us carb guys run 106lsa on older motors, no reason that a 112 would be lazy at all.

Holly if that set up doesn't go 10's on the motor something is bad wrong. Those guys on the Corvette forum forget to take there Centrum Silver and get cranky some times. How would those guys know what a Vic Jr. is going to do any way ? You will love your new msd box its a ton better. I would love to have any heads that Tony Mamo has worked on. Sounds like you have a killer setup
