Any updates worth posting up. Could you maybe post a pic or two of your tie rod/oil pan Clarence. Thanks.

What did you do about getting your fuel level gauge to work? Did you stick with your stock gauge, and if so did you have to change anything to make it work?

Hello everybody, Sorry for the lack of updates but Ive had lot of crap taking up too much of my time, but I think things have finally calmed down enough for me to concentrate on my swap again. Here is where I think I left off.

Wrecked my brothers truck due to a dumbass not paying attention (me) COST ME 500 BUCKS FOR THE DEDUCTIBLE

Bought a house...

Finally was able to send my wiring harness and computer to Wait4me performance..

I had to completely unwrap the harness and start from scratch because it only allowed the ecu to be located in the engine bay on the drivers side.

Here it is about half way done. It now will exit straight out the back of the motor and into the firewall, From there to under the dash.

I also started to install a cage and mockup on my seats. I should be ready to have them reupholstered in the next few weeks. I just need to find A good shop that will do it for under 1200 bucks.

I think somebody asked for some oil pan clearance pics. Here is the best one I have, let me know if that does not work for you.

I also picked up a ls3 intake with injectors off craigslist for 100 bucks it only has 2500 miles on it too. I think you know whats coming next

I also have some plans to buy my wheels with the 8000 dollar tax credit from buying my house

Default Plans for wiper motor??

First, great work and I'm following closely as I'm in the middle of this swap in my 69 chevelle. I noticed in your photos, you also covered the wiper motor location. What's your plan for this, relocate this to the other side? Just curious?

thx

THE450R: Sorry I couldnt find the tag with a part number, but all I did was go to the part store and look throught the hose section. Autozone had more than a few of them in stock, so whatever its supposed to be for was common.

MrBollWeevil97 : I plan to use the kit from DSE, but Ive put all my money and effort in to getting it running. Carcraft had a article on it, But I will definitely need it soon here in Seattle.

9WhiteCamaro9: I was quoted 2,100 for powder coated silver spokes with polished hoops in 18x9's and 18x10's, but I didnt ask if that included shipping, and that was before the economy tanked too.

Here is a little update:
Fianally was able to order my Covan's thunder road panel and gauges...

I picked up a set of procar seats from jegs. Very nice seats for the price...

I also ordered a tire and wheel simulator from Percy's so I can order my wheels soon

Update: Just ordered my new wheels monday 3/7 Should be here in a month though 18x9 for the front and 18x10 rear. Polished with no hardware and a rolled lip.

I also ordered a new fuse box and wiring harness specifically designed for gm muscle cars with the newer style fuses. I never liked the tube style. This should also make wiring the engine alot easier too.

I cant wait for the weather to start getting nicer, so I can go for a drive

What did you do to mount the seats? Modify or buy brackets? Also, where in Seattle are you? I am working on a '71 LS2 swap in Newcastle.
