I was at Great Lakes Dragawy and saw an earlier gen RX7, yellow, with an LS1 conversion... Did not have a hood on it when I saw it, very nice swap. Motor appears to sit a little high in there so I'm wonder what his hood solution looks like.

Sorry to say but he has completed more like 2-3 conversions including his own. There are a few guys using his fabricators subframe (Lane Culver) for their swaps but Brian sure hasnt done 15.

Mine went 12.9@112 on street tires and a bone stock motor
A guy in Florida went 11.4@127 with BFG's and a cam and a small spray
and brian has gone 6.7@103 in the 1/8th with a small cam slicks and a 100shot. He is putting H/C on the car now and should be running next weekend in the 1/4.
Quick little cars but we have a MAJOR weight advantage over you F body guys. We are around 2850-2950 without driver and we have 4.10's or 3.90 rear stock too. The only bad part is I have to hit 5th at the 1000' with street tires but should be ok with taller ET Streets.

It looks riced out though, stickers and body kit, this is one ricer that might be able to pull his weight ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
