Default LT1/ 2nd gen Firebird

Maybe I should post this here?

The 400 Pontiac currently in my '75 Formula belongs in my '68 convertible which is near ready for the engine. So I'm going to use the LT1/4L60E I have in the '75. I have frame mounts, etc...For the sake of simple and cheap, can I use the LT1 exhaust manifolds and will I need to notch, move or modify anything to clear the a/c compressor? On my '67 Impala SS I had to notch the front cross member.

There has been many. Also a bit of good information on LT1 swaps over at nastyz28.com in the high tech retrofit section.
