Noticed this when putting in the rad today, one of the horizontal bars seem to be broken. What do you think ?

Yup it will leak. You could tear some fins away top and bottom with some wire cutters, pinch the area with some pliers, then JB weld over the pinch and it will hold. I fixed a radiator i had like this just fine.

Do like he said, except don't use JB weld, heat it up with a torch and then seal it with solder.

prob buy a new one. Can i use my v6 radiator for this ls1 swap ? only problem is it only has 1 nipple for the coolant overflow. It does not have the second nipple for the hose that goes to the trottlebody.

Does solder work/hold on an aluminum raditor?

V6 radiators are the same from everything i have read.

I'm not sure about the solder and aluminum. I've never soldered aluminum. I know that the JB weld works.
