Ive been lurking here long enough, gathering infos, ideas and knowledge but I have never posted pics of my project here. I know they are getting pretty common, but I thought I would share anyways.
The car is an 86' Camaro, that was originally 305/T5. It was a pretty solid car to begin with, almost zero rust on the body which is very rare up here. I ended up replacing the driver side floor because it was rusted from the inside due to a leaking vent flap. On the outside door handles, gas cap, rear bumper, front bumper, antenna and side gfxs were shaved. I wanted the cleanest look possible. In the engine bay the following were deleted and shaved: Wiper motor, HVAC assembly, windshield washer tank and radiator overflow.![](http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/4730/4421/24324710020_large.jpg)

Enjoy!
The engine is an 00' LS1 that came out of a vette. The T56 came from a 99 30th TA. I only miss the clutch to mate to 2 together and install it in the car. Engine is stock at the moment, and will fire that way. I hate to troubleshoot a modded engine. A 4th gen plastic tank is installed in the car with a Racetronix pump. The rear end will be a fabbed 9" from Midwest Chassis.

Everything on the car is new, including the glasses, every pieces of the suspension, brakes, steering... everything, all new, and top of the line. Its been almost 5 years since I started this, but Im getting only the best parts. Oh, its bagged.

Its a Racecraft K-member. It has the road race option (More bracing for hard cornering) and LS1 mounts.
Thanks! Super Chevy made the mag and the company was Ride Tech. Thats when I decided to go with air.
Oh and I think bagged 3rd gens are sweet ever since some chevy mag did an article on it a few years back

I see you threw a cage in there but I take it your aren't planning on actually road racing or drag racing the car? I ask because most sanctioning bodies (around here anyways) won't let you run with shaved door handles.

I bought them of Ebay. They are cheap projector knock-offs but for the price, you cant beat the look. Im still going to make them HID tho. The glass is smooth indeed. I think they fit the car pretty well, I had to modify the headlight buckets to put them in tho, no biggy.

The little gem is the latest UMI piece for 3rd gens. It even fits with my J&M strut mounts! Looks like the 2 parts were made to fit with each other.
