VATS with LQ?

I have a LQ9 transplanted into a non gm vehicle. Am I going to have VATS issues with this? or is that just on camaros?

Yes, the VATS will need programmed out or bypassed with a module with any stock LS ECM setup

I was hoping not to hear that! thanks

I only have the engine harness the whole VAT part is not there, I am going to have to get the ECU reprog... damn it!

Having the ECM reprogrammed also takes care of turning off the stuff you won't be using such as emissions stuff, etc. This is also the time to have fan turn on temps set, etc.

Yep, if its a truck computer you have to reprogram the vats out. the f-body ones can get away with a bypass box.
