Default LT1 to LS1 motor mount question

ok ive been searching and seraching for over and hour and i cant find any info on swapping an ls1 into an lt1 camaro with using the stock k member. i dont know if its possible or not but some info would be much appreciated if anyone has any. i know i could swap to a tubular ls1 k member or a stock ls1 kmember and be done with it but i wanted to know if its possible with the stock lt1 k member. thanks in advance

i believe you need adapter plates you can buy on ebay

I used adapter plates, the only thing is that they move the Engine & Trans about 3/4" back toward the rear.

I've heard you can use LS1 mounts and just drill new holes in the LT1 K member. But I didn't want to take a chance of slowing down my swap and just found it easier and cheaper to buy a used LS1 K member.
