Can we get some information on what happened? Who, what, when, where, why, how, etc?

Not my car, The owner only had the new ls3 engine running for 30 minutes before this happened. He lost controll of the car at 80MPH and slid off the road. Good thing that there was not a passenger in the car. Driver was fine, just upset that he just lost his car. The good thing is that he was able to find another Z-car for $1300 to put his motor in.

ls3 power on small tires + 80 mph loss of traction = wrecked car

Is this the equation?

sucks, glad he wasn't hurt.

Glad the driver is ok .. But from the looks of those back tires almost no tread he should have knew better .. That car is to light to not have a set of sticky tires on it.....

The ultimate slap on the face is that he will get a bill for that pole he tore up.

DAMN! In my part of the world I would have to spend that much just to find a decent 240Z.
It's good to hear nobody was hurt, but it's still a crying shame about the car.

That makes the most sence, in reference to an explanation. There are a lot of people of whom put big power in little cars & ignore the requirement of building the car around the power (a 10 sec driver would have understood the difference during the build).

A little bondo and an alignment and that **** will be ok. Sucks, LS3, light car, sounded nasty.

Hopefully he'll get the setup in the other car quickly, with some new tires I hope. Those tires on the back almost look like slicks
