Default Motor specs for my nova.

Stock shortblock LQ4
stock 5.3L heads (P&P later on)
224/236 .612, .607 117+2 LSA
Vic Jr.
Holley 750dp
shorty headers w/ 2.5 duals
TH400
3500-4000 stall
9" rear/3.50 gears/spool
M/T 235/60-15

2800lb Nova wagon

Will the cam create any PTV clearance issues?

The alternative is:

L92 heads (milled to 62cc) w/ .045 gasket
218/230 .595/.600 116LSA+3 advance

I'm looking for:
10.8-11.0:1 compression
6800 redline
150-200 shot n2o (compatible)
STEALTHY set-up

The first cam was a PredatorZ spec'd cam the second was a PatrickG spec'd cam.

L92's limit the size of the cam because oif the HUGE *** valves.

And for Ken the 2drs weigh 2500 and the 4drs weigh a lil more. My wagon should gain weight with the iron block/TH400/9" rear, but i am stripping ALL accessories, heater, and putting race buckets up front and a lightweight bench in back. The only other thing going back inside is the carpet.

Here is a full sheet on all years. http://www.novaresource.org/weights.htm

I agree with this. If you are worrier about PTC don't mill them. That cam will fit. Or mill them and take the motor to someone with the cam and gaskets and have them fly cut the pistons since the motor is out.

I fly cut my pistons in the car on my camaro. Took for ever but was very easy.

nope. both are 6.0L (364 cid). the only difference is the piston (and i think the rod depending on year). lq4s have a -8 cc piston (and 9.4:1 CR), lq9's have flat tops (and 10.1:1 CR)

The idea of the whole project is to build a sleeper. If it has a NASTY idle that is a dead give-away. Both these cams were designed to have a relatively stock sounding idle.
