lq4 coolant sensor thread size

i did a few searches and can not find any info is the hole that is tapped for the coolant sensor 1/4 npt? i am putting a set of guages in my car today and the sensor that comes with my guages is 1/8 npt so what adapter am i going to have to use to put my sensor in the side of the head thanks

This kit has the M12x1.5 to 1/8 npt adapter you need

The kit also has the adapter for the oil pressure if you need it. You can find similar kits in other places. Sunpro makes one, as well as others.

Or turn your existing sensor down to 12mm and chase the M12 x 1.5 thd. Alternately, run the correct metric die on the sensor. Apparently seals on the straight threads, but a copper crush washer was included.....
