5.3 and the 6.0 what is the difference 
Ok. I spent an hour and a half looking. Either I did not type the right words, or I'm blind. I have a 5.3 in my Sonoma. I of course have the wiring and computer. Now of course I wanna goto the 6.0. Can I just buy the motor and use the wiring and cpu from the 5.3 and reprogram the computer for the 6.0, or do I need to get the 6.0 wiring and cpu...?Please help...

yea u can still use the same pcu and harness.. just have to watch out for diffrent years.. i think in 04 or 05 they came out with the 52teeth on crank sensor or something like that.. but i have switch from a 6.0 to a 4.8 to a 5.7,, all works fine..just tune ur pcm diffrent..
