Those are pretty quiet and the still flow better than the 40-series Noisemasters you have right now.

Use 3" Summit Turbo Mufflers . I have these on my 91 . There very quiet cruising until you rap down it. Nice mellow note at idle. My car runs consistent 10s on motor and High 9s on a 150 shot through these mufflers. Best part is there only 21.95 each.
