whether first to the punch or not, i'm starting a similiar build but 5.3L
people worry about the weight distribution, its the transmission that is the heavy component in the swap - the corolla's gearbox is 50 pounds and the T56 is 130ish but i think relocate the battery to the trunk etc and it would be fine. also you would have to replace the ae86 rear end as it can only hold about 200hp.
