if you are referring to using a 4l60e with the e38 computer that the l92 uses, no you have to use an aftermarket computer. Chacho44, what kind of pointers do you need? I would advise you to go to the conversions & hybrids section on this forum as well as impalassforum.com and most of your answers will be answered.

All other tips will be appreciated!!!! Here is what i got 95 impala, swap is a l92 w/ brian and harness. Wanna use my original trans from my lt1 or can i??? Wanna do a pair of longtubes and 100shot, i just got my cc vvt cam in, so this is what i wanna do w/ a sweet *** tune. Maybe some other things but not sure what else. Im wondering what kind of hp i will puttin down.i went with this idea and cam cause i saw it in the gm hightech perf magazine i think it was the march issue, they had a spread of the l92 out of the escalade(bone stock) with this cam and a set of long tubes with a tune and it said it put down 499.something. Im sure mine wont do exactly the same but hopin for close. All engines are diff, so we will see. But a 100shot safe for this plan i got and what you think the hp will be or what ever

Isn't it always lol. Is any project ever what you expect it to be? lol
Well you could always use S&P Midlength Headers, S&P Motor Mounts, and one of my buddies tubular Transmission crossmembers. I won't post a link, seeing as he's a not a sponsor on this board. Doing the harness yourself isn't really hard at all. Just time consuming. Took me about 2 weeks to do mine, and thats including Labeling everything, and just working on it nights and some times on weekends.
