i recently had an issue with my new engine not starting, due to the tightness of the engine it was turning over a little slowly and the msd box wasnt seeing it crank fast enough to fire the coil packs. i temporarily cured this by rigging up 2 large 12v batteries direct to the starter to whiz it over faster, and the msd box worked first time.

i mentioned this to msd on their technical forum and they immediately sent me a brand new updated 6010 box free of charge on an exchange basis for my old box, even before i had posted it back to them. i'm based in the uk so i thought i'd give them a bit of praise via the forum for their help.

the software on my old 6010 box must need to see a higher cranking rpm than the latest version so fingers crossed now!
