65 GTO ls1 swap header, exhaust and radiator question
Ok reading and reading all over I am down to thinking this will be the most straight forward help me if I am wrong
65 GTO GM A body orig down flow radiator
98 F body ls1 engine ( have one laying around lucky me)
stock location lower alternator smaller alternator? Part # ??
No AC
Factory location Upper mounted Power steering pump with resivoir
Use
Carshop SBC standard location swap mount plates( I happen to have a set laying around)
SBC engine side mounts
SBC frame side stands
my orig crossmember due to the 2004r
question will the BRP midlenth headers work with this?
Or are the Edelbrocks better.
Reason being is my car will be lowered with my Eibach springs so wll prob sit fairly low, hopefully not too low for what I want. Dont want to be scraping the collectors all over.
Also radiator and fans??
I have seen others using different types of OE fans but have not seen anything for this size of radiator.
What are you using that will not be a big buck pay for the name conversion unit.
I need it to fit in the stock location mounting so I may have to do that but anyone do this to a 64-67 A body without the AC core support(shorter core)
Thanks to all
