whats needed to run a th400 behind a 5.3 LM7

OK i was told to search,but F@#5 there are a million pages here,and I did search and didint find what i need..
I am putting a 5.3 LM7 in my 85 Regal,want to run a TH400,do i need an adapter of some sort or iwll it cbolt right up

Easy way out...
buy the LS1 adapter (spacer) about $58.00
Buy the LS Flexplate about $115.00
**(you could use factory flexplate and longer flywheel bolts)
Thats it... and don't worry about the missing bolt. Thats the way GM designed it.

I used the GM spacer and bolts. There is an extra set of holes on the flywheel that fit perfectly for the th350/400 converters. These holes aren't raised like the others so I used a couple washers between the flywheel and converter and it works great.
