Need some help with air intake Hello everyone, just a few questions. Does anyone know what kind of K&N intake I can use on my C3 vette. I am not looking for anything fancy, at this point in time all I am looking for is the K&N intake that makes a 90 degree turn toward the Alternator (MAF before the filter). Does anyone know the part #?? Also, as for the coolant hose on the throttle body where do I hook up this thing? Can I use the tranny cooler ports that are already on my Radiator??
I used the Airaid intake that fits a 1996-2000 5.7L full size pickup. www.airaid.com/200-102_chevy.asp The part number is 200-102. It even has the port for the air temp sensor and is powercoated. Most don't hook up the hoses that flow coolant through the throttle body. You do need the head vents hooked up in the cooling system to let traped air out of the system. Mine is hooked into the radiator where the heater return used to hook up. I also used the tranny cooler ports in my stock radiator. If you double click on the image it will open up to a larger size.

Looks like You have a few options. GMChasLS1 seems to do what you want. An lt1 intake hose will also fit over the ls1 throttle body ( I know it is oval but will conform) or use fenco couplers and a mandrel bent 3" exhaust elbow like summit sell. That is what I did.
