Autokraft oil pan and windage tray.
I talked to Kurt at Autokraft and he indicated that about 50% of his customers keep their F-Body windage tray when using the Autokraft oil pan. What are Guys doing? Any pros and cons? Because the bottom of the pan is so close to the windage tray, It looks to me like it may actually hinder draining back to the sump.
I'm planning on reusing the F-body pan gasket, anyone think I should use some sort of sealant or should I use the gasket dry?

My motor was a GM crate motor that came with a GTO pan and windage tray. I installed the the Autokraft Pan with the stock GTO windage tray and everything fit no problem but I have not fired the car yet so I am not sure on the oil drainback issue. When I talked to Champ Pans that manufacturers the pan they told me to use the stock windage tray so hopefully they have done some R&D and know that it works.
