Default 5.3 Head Porting Questions

Any suggestions about where to port on a stock 5.3 head just to "clean them up" a little? I am not looking to fully hog these out just make them flow a little better than factory. Or is this even worth messing with? I thought it was a good idea since I already had the heads off but I am open to any advise you may have. Thanks.

You could probably clean them up in the garage!

When you say valve job, you mean bigger valves, 3 angle or radial valve cut? So stock heads flow well as is ? Thanks for your response.

get a good 5 angle valve job and if its possible get some back cut valves and you'll pick up some decent flow... if its possible get some 2.02/1.60 valves that are back cut and install them after your valve job....

another part of the head i see can be improved on is at the top of the intake runner o both sides if you stick your finger in there you'll know what im talkin about.... smooth those out and i believe you'll have a decent set of heads.. i'd also match my intake to it while im at it
