Jason - did you ever put together the parts list? I am in the middle of a 67FB project and was thinking about ls2 power and found your posts here.
I have the CA/TCP power rack and Coil over front end and the EVM three link in my 67FB project. I agree that pound for pound nothing beats the ls2. I am looking for a GTO donor now - but have some questions that I hope you can help me with.
Specifically -
Did you fab the frame brackets and the trans xmember or are there OTS pieces that can be modded to work?
Did you have to relocate the trans tunnel hole for the shifter (in your pics it seems pretty far back.
Did you have get ls2 specific sensors that were compatible with the autometer guage pack?
Did you use the ls2 PS pump with the CA/TCP Power Rack?
Hope to hear from you soon.
thanks!
jer

CA/TCP: (yes The parts are blue. The project stalled for about 5 years between delivery and mockup...)

resurrecting this thread with a question to see if i can get an answer. all LS motors are the same width, correct? I am contemplating an iron block 5.3 swap with rod bolts, ls9 gaskets, ls6 oil pump and ls1 intake, with a 67MM turbo into a 67 mustang coupe. turbo 400 trans with stall and swapping my current 4:11s to a 3:55....any opinions?
