Default ls7 into 2006 silverado?

ok, so i have this crazy idea that came to mind, could i put a ls7 inside ny 2006 chevy silverado 1500 that currently has the 4.8l and the nv3500? if so i would use the t-56 tranny if it is strong enough

Yes you could but its costly. If I were you it be more beneficial to go with a LSX Block and build a 427 or 454, mounted with either the T56 or MVB.

Manual Valve Body, almost like a SMG a clutchless manual transmission. you only use the clutch for stopping and going.

ok, i think i will stay with my original tranny choice, so with 427 lsx do you think the truck would make good competition for the viper truck?

absolutely, there's 454's putting down some nice numbers. if you have the right s/c and spray you'd rape a srt-10 ram.

umm if you plan on using a T56...get it sent to Tickperformance first...otherwise you are going to have a nice engine, nice truck that goes no where....

I just told you man. go with either a 427 or 454 LSX Build, and s/c and add spray you more then likely own anything you come across. there's a guy on here with a 9 sec silverado. His name is black sheep i believe.

yes their both a 6.0 you seem like you don't know what you want. do yourself a favor stop posting and start searching. Price everything out for each motor and build and go from there. be sure to look at dyno sheets and other things to determine what power levels suit you.
