Just bought the LH3 pan. [last week.]
New part number is: 12624621 Net $122.81.
Pickup tube 12608593 Net $28.05
Tube seal 12584922 Net $5.27

I measured the diff between the truck pickup tube and the LH8, 1 3/4".
USE CARE when installing this tube, as it may not lay flat on the windage tray. If you bolt it down in a bind it WILL mess w/ the o'ring seal in the pump.
FWIW, the LH8 pan does not have the low oil sensor bung.

How is the full size van pan any different? Mine came out of a 03 2500 van. I bought an lh8 pan to use. I thought the van/truck pans had trouble clearing the cross member. Im using the BRP mounts?

Bump for future reference.

Can anyone offer any more info on modifying the pick up tube?

Jason
Do you know what was done to your pan to clean it before it was welded? I've always been under the impression that welding used aluminum could never turn out as nice as your's did. If I could clean my van pan as well as yours I'd weld it in a heartbeat.
Thanks,
kory

I run the CTS V pan on my early camaro swap. Pan fits better than Hummer Pan, (no ground clearance) and F body pan hits steering linkage. Only problem with CTS V pan is on launch with drag car, oil pressure drops from 80 to 30 then climbs back up. The Hummer pan was solid 80 pounds throughout the run. Won't see that without a racepak.
