ls1 s10 I'm looking to swap a lq9/t56 into my 84 s10.
i need a list of what i will need. here is what i have so far.
1.engine
2.tranny
3.wiring harness
4.motor mounts
5.accessories
6.oil pan off h3 or ls2 pan and notch the frame.
i was reading on how to swap em into early camaros and it said something about new fuel rails for a send and recieve fuel system or something like that. they said most ls1s don't come with that as they don't need to send it back or something
basically can i get some help with what i am gonna need and if i need new fuel rails?

Your best bet would be to jump on some of the s10 forums.......but a lot of these have been done on here and some go step by step.
As for the fuel system it all depends on what you want. The truck intake has a regulator and return line on it. You can swap to an ls6 manifold and use the corvette fuel filter/regulator set up. But really it is up to you.....hundreds of ways to do it

I believe there's a place called s10forum . com and they have a ton of info on the swap. Then when you get the basics done, you could come back over here and get more detailed info as far as the motor and trans.
