Default Throttle Pedal

I have put a 2007 6.2 L with 6L80 in my 1957 chevy truck(runs like at Bat out of Hell, and not even tuned yet) the acellerator pedal that came with harness ( same as listed below ) doesn't work for me ,(not enough room) I purchased a 2007 vette pedal that fits perfectly and also has same pin connector , but I get nothing when hooked up , I have heard that 2 wires need to be swapped ......anybody know or heard of this ......any help would be Greatly appreciated !

I guess I'm trying to find out if it affected drivability any? I don't want to pull a toyota if I swap this out.

I also need to find out what wires need to be swapped around?

Thanks in advance
Anyone??

I hope you don't have to pull a Toyota. Obviously, the C6 pedal is easily compatible with gen IV wiring that has no tac module. 'Seems like a much more difficult prospect to get it to work with the earlier stuff.

I'm sorry, I got confused with the thread as I had posted in it a while back.

I'm wanting to use a 97-02 corvette pedal with a 2004 5.3 engine, harness, throttlebody, and tac

I was thinking that someone has made this work in the past, I could be wrong

Wow...haven't logged in here in a while! Im sure your question has been answered by now (hopefully correctly!)
It is not a big deal to run the vette pedal, with a truck harness, TAC, and PCM. It only requires that 2 wires be switched on the "jumper" harness that runs between the pedal and the TAC module. I can look up which ones if you still are in need of the info. Have done this many times, it works and its not a hassle.

Thanks for the reply, I ended up swapping my PCM, throttle body, and wiring over to work with a 2004 GTO/Express Van drive by cable set-up.

I wasn't 100% sure on the corvette pedal wiring and didn't want to chance it. At least now I can use my stock pedal.
