flipping intake manifold 180
I am trying to flip my intake manifold on my LS1 and the Oil pressure sender is in the way of the throttle body. Can anyone tell me how they have gotten past this problem? You can see the chassis at www.exoticdreambuilders.com

Just break off the black plastic, weld the hole shut, and use the oil pressure port down above the oil filter.
We've done several of these for kit cars.

There is no need to run the factory sender unless you also plan to run the factory gauges. There is no input to the PCM. If you take that cover off above the oil filter you can drill and tap it for an 1/8 " NPT after-market oil presser sender . I installed my oil temp there so I did end up using the original port. It is an unusual thread 16mm x 1.5 the autobarn.com sell a metric adapter kit that includes that size with it you will also get the adapter for the temp sensor in the head too. I then ran two street 90 to get it out from underneath. It is part number

Did you see what I was talking about extending the MAP sensor wire, and folding back the ones for the IAC, TPS,maf, and IAT sensors. You could cut them and shorten them but there is really no need they fit back into the tubing easily. Ps if you don't want to destroy the sender and still want to plug the hole fastenal carries that bolt in a socket head style. They have locations all over. The part number is 38781.
